Getting back in when you cannot remember it.
Forgot your password? sits in the sign-in window. Enter the email address on your account and we send you a link that lets you set a new one.
The new password must be at least 8 characters, and the two boxes have to match. This is a higher bar than the 6 characters accepted when you first sign up, so a password that was fine originally may be refused here.
Check your spam or junk folder first — that is where it usually is. Then check the address: a reset can only be sent to the address actually on the account, and asking for one on a mistyped address produces nothing.
If you signed up with Google, there is no Artmire password to reset. Use Continue with Google to sign in instead, and if you have lost access to the Google account itself, that has to be recovered with Google.
Two things cause this, and both have the same fix.
Request a fresh reset from the sign-in window and follow the new link promptly. Also worth knowing: some email providers open links in incoming mail to scan them, which can spend a link before you click it — if that keeps happening, open the message on a different device or provider.
You do not need a reset. There is a Change Password section on your account page — fill in the two fields there and save. It is the same 8-character rule.
Customizing your account profile
Use one you do not use anywhere else. Your Artmire account holds your order history, your addresses and, if you sell, your shop — a password reused from another site is only as safe as that site's last breach. A password manager is the easy answer; a long phrase you can remember is the next best thing.
