Signing up, and what you can do before you do.
You can look around Artmire without an account. Browse and search every listing, read item pages, visit shops and read their reviews and policies — none of it needs signing in.
An account is needed the moment you want to do something: save an item to your favourites, put one in your cart, make an offer, message a seller, or buy anything.
Buttons that need an account do not fail silently. Press the heart, Add to Cart or Ask Seller while signed out and the sign-in window opens, then carries on where you left off.
Join Artmire opens the form. From there:
Signing in with Facebook or Apple is not offered at the moment.
Whichever you choose, it is one Artmire account either way. Signing up with Google does not create a different kind of account from signing up with an email address.
It runs in two steps. First your email address, then everything else:
Creating the account means agreeing to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, both linked from the form.
After signing up you will see Check Your Email. We send a confirmation link, and the account is not active until you follow it — so do that before trying to buy anything.
Nothing arrived? There is a Resend Email button on that screen, and the confirmation article covers what to try next.
Your name is public in the places where it matters: sellers see it when you message them, and it appears with your profile picture on any review you write. Reviews cannot be edited or deleted afterwards, so it is worth choosing a name now that you are content to be seen under later.
You do not need a second account to sell. Selling is added to the account you already have — see the seller section when you get to it. Buying and selling live side by side under one sign-in.
