What happens to the money between the sale and your bank account.
The buyer pays Artmire, not you. You post the parcel, and what you are owed reaches you by bank transfer against an invoice we raise.
Artmire is not a wallet. There is no running total of your earnings, no withdraw button and nothing to request — money leaves us and arrives in your bank account without you doing anything.
So do not go looking for a figure to watch. Earnings shows what is still owed to you and what has already been paid — a record, not a balance.
Delivery is what starts this, not dispatch. The tracking number is still what makes it possible — without it nothing can be seen to arrive — but the money is settled once the parcel is in the buyer's hands.
Seven days after the parcel arrives, at the earliest — and then on the rhythm you choose yourself in Shop Settings: seven days after each delivery, every Monday, or once a month.
The seven days are a warranty window, not us being slow. A return, a dispute or a damaged parcel almost always surfaces in the first week, and money already transferred is money that has to be asked back from someone who may have spent it.
Our commission, at the rate in your agreement, calculated on the whole amount the buyer paid — shipping included. That is the only deduction.
Shipping is not profit. The commission applies to it as well, and the postage still costs you what it costs — so a rate that only just covers the parcel does not quite cover it.
The one you gave us when your shop was set up. It is held on your shop's record; you cannot edit it yourself, but you can read it back on any payout receipt, where the account holder, the bank and the IBAN are printed.
So check it with us before your first sale, not after a transfer has gone somewhere unexpected. To change it, write to us; we will not change bank details on the strength of a chat message alone.
You are paid in the currency associated to your bank account, and nothing is converted along the way.
It is another reason to keep to the same currency on your item prices and your bank account details, unless you have a reason not to.
Earnings has two tabs: Payouts due, listing every delivered parcel not yet paid for and the date each becomes payable, and Payouts performed, one line per invoice with its Status — Paid or Unpaid — and the date the transfer went.
